Nursing School

Well I started the nursing program this past week- it was a bit overwhelming- but I still survived the first week! I have 5 more semesters- then I'll be done (yeah!). It's so crazy all the stuff we will be learning in the program- right now I can't see how anyone can do it. Somehow I will manage :). Hopefullly you all want to be my dummies...Who wants to be the injection dummy? (just kidding).

Christmas 2008

Christmas was wonderful as always. We first went the weekend before Christmas to Amanda's family's house. Then we headed to Blackfoot to spend Christmas with Brian's family- his parents, sisters Alycen, Taunya, and Candace, and brother and sister in-law Mark and Sarah and there son Boyce. On Chrismtas morning, at aroun 3 or 4 am, the power went out in Blackfoot because of the blizzardy wind and snow. We had candles lit all over the place until we were just about to read the Christmas story and then the lights came back on (a little bit after 6 am). Then we opened up our Christmas- Avery slept through it all. Eventually he will be the one having to get US up for Christmas.

Temple Square Lights

Over Christmas break we went with Amanda's family down to Salt Lake to see the temple square lights. It was definetly an adventure- with two infants a stubborn 2 year old (Aiden refused to wear his hat even though he was freezing cold) and 9 adults hustling and bustling to see them. It was cold with lots of people, but we still had a ton of fun. We stayed over in a hotel (we were on the 12th floor and the 13th floor had a dance club on it, so it kept some of us up all night) and went to the Spoken Word the next day.
